Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect personal data through this website, and the rights you have over it. Last updated October 21, 2026.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how MagenX Security ("MagenX", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data through magenxsecurity.com and its features, including the MagenX SI assistant and the demonstration request (the "Site"). MagenX is the controller of that personal data. For any question or request about it, contact us at info@magenxsecurity.com.
This policy applies to the Site only. The MagenX products are deployed in the customer's own environment and are governed by the customer's agreement with MagenX.
2. Personal data we collect
Information you give us. When you request a demonstration or contact us: your name, job title, work email address, company, and any further details you choose to provide, such as the size of your environment, the licence you are interested in and your comments. When you use MagenX SI: the questions you ask and the answers given.
Information collected automatically. Technical information such as the page you visited, your approximate location derived from your connection, your browser and device type, a pseudonymised identifier derived from your connection, and how you use the Site. Some of it is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics cookies set by Google Analytics.
The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
3. How we use it, and on what basis
- To respond to your request, arrange and prepare a demonstration, and communicate with you about MagenX, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and, where you request a demonstration, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
- To operate MagenX SI and answer your questions, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the Site.
- To understand how the Site is used and to improve the Site, its content and our products, on the basis of our legitimate interest and, where the law requires it, your consent.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent misuse and enforce our Terms of Use, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions, for the purposes above:
- Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers the Site and stores MagenX SI conversations.
- Anthropic, which provides the language model that generates MagenX SI's answers.
- Web3Forms, which delivers demonstration requests to us.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of MagenX or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case the data remains subject to this policy.
5. International transfers
Our service providers may process personal data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above. MagenX SI conversations are deleted automatically after twelve months. Demonstration requests and correspondence are kept for as long as our business relationship or discussions continue and for a reasonable period afterwards, or longer where the law requires it. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics service.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for not submitting information you do not wish to share.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@magenxsecurity.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
The Site uses technologies that are necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies that help us understand how it is used. Where the law requires consent, including for visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser. The Site remains available without analytics cookies. Your cookie choice and the MagenX SI conversation are kept in your browser's storage.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
11. Contact
